When You've Chosen Your Will

What decisions do you have to make? Have you consulted with God? Have you considered the consequences? In this sermon dealing with “choices,” Dr. E. Dewey Smith, Jr. helps us determine if we are living based on God’s will for us or our own for self-gratification. The story of David’s son, Absalom, who chose to plot against his father so he can become King, is a great illustration. Absalom’s choices created controversy and sought control for the wrong reasons. Decisions like Absalom’s often find us operating outside of the will of God and demonstrate a lack of character. As you listen to this message, ask yourself “Do I have the spirit of Absalom or have I heard from God?” #Time #LiveBetter
