The Reason I Didn't Quit

Have you almost given up under the weight of life’s pressures?  King David offers his own telling admission of exhaustion in the 27th Psalm.  David remembered that he had been emotionally rejected by all of his close associations and he had been longing for direction when God stepped in on his behalf. In this insightful message, Dr. E. Dewey Smith, Jr. explains that God was in the process of transferring the Kingdom of Israel from King Saul to David.  Though David was a lowly shepherd, he did not quit because he was still expecting and believing that God would show him goodness and favor.  As a result of his faith, he handled the menial responsibilities and was elevated to major responsibility!
